Hello,
I have a problem. I state very clearly on my auction pages that I do not ship outside the USA, but now, I have a bid from someone in Japan; two bids, as a matter of fact. So, I tried to send a message to the bidder through his own auction pages...his "ask seller a question" feature. He states on his own auction pages that he only accepts payment by Paypal or C.O.D. I do not use Paypal and and this is stated on my auction pages. The cost of shipping on those two items is in US postage fees; NOT in International fees which is probably more. My attempt to contact the bidder didn't work. It never opened up.
So. I tried to reject the bids. But I got a big Red Warning page that I Was Not Authorized to Reject Bids From that Bidder!! What!!!
So....I sent an email to host@epier asking for advice in this matter. No answer, yet. Stay tuned.

Hi Annie, we will look into this. We made some changes that could be affecting the reject the bids.

Thanks. I do not want this bidder to give me a negative because I reject his bids. He should have read the conditions; i.e.: I do not ship outside USA.

since some changes are being made to the site. Does that mean we will get our counter hits back?

hi kim, anything is possible. If there is enough support and it is something that everyone wants then it is possible. However, there is a cost to everything that we do as you understand. The counter, although you may think is small, is a hit on resources if you are keeping track of 100,000s of items as you can imagine. So in order to do the count properly without affecting the speed of other critical parts of the site, we would probably need to add more servers. So yes, if we have the support of more and more members, you bet we can bring it back.

Could Epier.com add to the payment options "Revolution money exchange" and "auctionchex.com at some point?
"

Yes, this is possible. Can you tell us more about these other payment options?

Hi Fred, welcome to ePier. When you start listing items, you will be asked to mark your payment choices. Paypal is one of the options you can choose. You can also choose the options from the 'Payments I Accept' after you log into your account.

Revolutionmoneyexchange.com is similar to paypal , although it does not allow credit card payment.
It links to your bank accounts, and there are NO fees for the seller or buyer to pay. Many sellers are offering this option on other sites. Why only accept one kind of payment when you can accept many as a standard option.
Please see www.revolutionmoneyexchange.com for further information.

auctionchex.com is similar to what bidpay.com used to be. It works for auction format only, and there is no fee for the seller. The buyer pays the fees. This is great for an option for those who accept international payment.
www.auctionchex.com
These are other options for payment for sellers to use at thier own discretion, but the bottom line is to save money for fees. This would enable sellers to do that.

Would it be possible to have an EDIT function in the "What are you selling" section? This would be much easier to edit items if you have the direct link listed. thank you
